Jason Sartori is a consultant serving as a Special Projects Coordinator at the NCSG, where he leads research efforts, helps procure grants and manages numerous projects. Jason has worked with the Center in various capacities (from Graduate Assistant to Associate Director) but on a continuous basis since 2003. He has helmed several key projects for the Center, including “Smart Growth Indicators in Maryland,” Barriers to Development in Priority Funding Areas and the Center’s Opportunity Mapping efforts. Jason has also been the lead organizer for the Makeover Montgomery conference series and other Center conferences. Prior to the NCSG, he managed a variety of stakeholder participation, strategic planning and research initiatives for corporations in the private sector, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Jason obtained his Master of Community Planning degree from the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where he specialized in economic development.
