Dr. Xin Ye holds Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China in 2000 and
his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Transportation Engineering from University of South Florida in 2004 and 2006. He received
postdoctoral training at Arizona State University during 2007-2008. His research is mainly focused on econometric modeling
of travelers' activity, travel and time use behavior. In addition, he is experienced in population synthesis, travel survey
design, travel demand model development and modeling analysis of traffic crashes. Currently, his major research effort at the
Center is to aid in developing and implementing statewide travel demand model for Maryland.
